Small town news wrap-up

Posted by Gary on July 31st, 2006

This is the first installment of what I hope to make a weekly feature - a news roundup of the area’s small town news. I realize our intent is to reach worldwide readership, but I think once you see some of these headlines, you’ll understand their socio-political significance. That, and they’re darn funny. […]

IE, why do you suck so much?

Posted by Gary on July 28th, 2006

As some of you may have noticed, our newborn TubaPants has had some layout issues (only in Microsoft’s legendary Internet Explorer, of course). No, the posts are NOT supposed to be left justified under the left nav bar. They are supposed to be neatly tucked in the center section, flanked by the crisp […]

FORE!

George- “So I reached in, and pulled out the obstruction”
Kramer- “What is that, a Titlelist?… Hole in one, huh?”

Posted by Joe on July 27th, 2006

Remember the good ol’ days of Monopoly money, the shoe, the wheel barrow and getting out of jail for free? How times have changed.

You, Me and Steely Dan

Posted by Matt on July 26th, 2006

Jazz-rockers Steely Dan, who apparently have a lot of free time on their hands, are demanding an apology from Owen Wilson for apparently ripping off their song “Cousin Dupree” and using it as the plot of his current movie You, Me and DuPree.
Steely Dan is PISSED. Not only are they threatening legal action, they […]

Love Is A Battlefield

Posted by Matt on July 26th, 2006

As sure as the sun rises in the east, at some point each of us is going to go on a date. Somtimes these dates will go awesome. Sometimes these dates will seem like karmic payback from a cruel higher power. Sometimes they will be just O.K. And sometimes this sort […]
