I double dog dare you…

Posted by Gary on December 30th, 2006

So you have the munchies.  And you’re a fiscally frugal individual (aka cheapskate).  You’re jonesin’ for a convenience store hotdog and you come up with diabolical plan to put not one, but two dogs on your bun… and mask the wiener deception with extra condiments.
You didn’t count on a) the clerk noticing/caring, b) the Des [...]

This Just In: People are stupid

Posted by Gary on December 28th, 2006

A couple sad and telling quotes (below) from a USA Today story about how the TV manufacturers and cable companies have launched proactive efforts to educate the public about HDTV.
“Perplexed TV purchasers often will hook up an HDTV incorrectly, then return it to a store as defective…”
“One in four HDTV owners is still watching regular [...]

Find out how many people share your name within the United States. This calculator device uses inaccurate information to tell you how many people share your first, last, and full name. Kinda neat to pass a few minutes on while at work.
hmmm how many Dick Trickles are there… hmmm… apparently 0. Real [...]

Now, a movie to warm the heart

Posted by Joe on December 21st, 2006

I haven’t seen one of these trailers in a theater, but I’d love to before the movie arrives in March.
the movie is possibly one of the best, graphic-novel to movie conversions. Its 300. Based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller. Its basically about 300 Spartans who fought, apparently, 1 million enemy [...]

Micheal Bay brings you…..

LARGE ROBOTS…
beware as this trailer flashes… alot… even if you don’t go into fits on the floor from it, you may still be painted unimpressed.
To me, this is the way of all cartoon/video game movies. The person making it was never a fan, and there-fore is so disconnected from it missing any and all [...]

I watch a lot of television. Some would argue too much… especially when it comes to the reality shows. And they just keep coming up with new ideas for shows that reel me in hook, line and sinker.
The folks at PayPerPost.com are documenting the ups, downs and sidewayses of starting a new internet 2.0 [...]

This week’s SNL with Justin Timberlake actually had a couple pretty funny bits… surprising though it may sound. The best was the Digital Short featuring Mr. Timberlake and the crazy funny Andy Samberg doing a Color Me Badd style music video for the present they are giving the special lady in their lives… “Dick [...]

Wisconsin hunter bags deer with 7 legs

Posted by Gary on December 14th, 2006

“It was definitely a freak of nature,” says Rick Lisko of Waucousta, WI of the 7-legged deer he nailed with his pickup truck along his mile long driveway. Not only did it have a couple two tree extra legs, it had both male & female reproductive organs.

“And by the way, I did eat it,” [...]
