Deep fried butter (aka, instant death)

Ok.  A couple thoughts before I get to the topic at hand.
First, yes, I watch the Food Network.  Giada De Laurentiis is hot, Iron Chef is awesome and Alton Brown is both entertaining and informative.
Second, yes, I realize that my state is the home of deep fried cheese… the irony is not lost on me.
