R.I.P. Double ‘G’

The man, the myth, the legend - god among geeks - E. Gary Gygax has passed away Tuesday at the age of 69.  The Wisconsin native is best known for co-inventing Dungeons & Dragons in 1974.  This is like the death of Elvis or John Lennon for a lot of us nerds.

Students Punished After Paying for Lunch with Pennies

The copper-headed stepchild of the currency world is at the center of a dustup in Readington Township, NJ. A group of 29 eighth graders played a prank disguised as civil disobedience by paying for their lunch all in pennies. After the fact, they said it was to protest a shortened lunch period.
