Another interesting auto paint job

Posted by Gary on December 25th, 2008

Last year we brought you the questionable paint job on a Lamborghini.  This year, we bring you a questionable paint job on a much less expensive ride - a 1993 Saturn.  What started as an effort by Jill Bell, the car’s owner, to cover up a scratch exploded into the picture you see below.

Students Punished After Paying for Lunch with Pennies

Posted by Gary on March 5th, 2008

The copper-headed stepchild of the currency world is at the center of a dustup in Readington Township, NJ. A group of 29 eighth graders played a prank disguised as civil disobedience by paying for their lunch all in pennies. After the fact, they said it was to protest a shortened lunch period.

two things are happening around Wisconsin that are alarming to me on a certain level.
1-  There seems to be so much resistance in cleaning up the mess that the local factories have dumped into our waters.  There are signs posted all along the Fox River stating the fish, and that you can only eat 1 [...]

This parade is not for the lazy

Posted by Gary on May 17th, 2007

Hey, if you’re not doing anything on Saturday, you might wanna head over to Whalan, Minnesota for the annual Stand Still Parade.
Here’s the dealio… the main drag in town is barely two blocks long, which would make for a pretty short traditional parade. And with a population of around sixty, they don’t have any [...]
